Bioceuticals Floractiv contains Saccharomyces cerevisiae (boulardii) - a probiotic yeast, which may help:
- Support the establishment of friendly bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract
- Provide relief of the symptoms of antibiotic-associated diarrhoea
- Provide relief from symptoms of traveller's diarrhoea
- Supports healthy digestive system function
- Saccharomyces cerevisiae (boulardii) is not inhibited by antibiotics and does not inhabit the bowel when supplementation ceases
- No added dairy, gluten, shellfish or soy protein
- Vegan friendly
Ingredients
Each capsule contains: Saccharomyces cerevisiae (boulardii) (SB) 5 billion CFU
Use Suggestion
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 - 2 capsules once or twice daily
Children 4 - 12 years: ½ - 1 capsule once or twice daily
Infants and children 2 months - 3 years: ½ - 1 capsule once or twice daily mix capsule contents into breastmilk, formula or water
Seek medical advice if diarrhoea persists for more than:
6 hours in infants under 6 months
12 hours in children under 3 years
24 hours in children aged 3 - 6 years
48 hours in adults and children over 6 years
Caution use in immunocompromised or critically ill patients
Patients with long-term dysbiosis may need to start at a lower dose
Patients with true (IgE-mediated) yeast allergy may be allergic to products containing S. boulardii
