Integra Nutritionals PreBio PHGG is derived from an inner part of the guar seed, with its fibre containing the molecules galactose and mannose that are broken down in the large intestine (or colon) to produce short chain fatty acids (SCFA) by the action of the commensal bacteria, the microflora. In this way, the microflora and the cells of the colon exist in harmony, each essential for the health of the other. PreBio PHGG is a rich source of these SCFA butyrate producers.

- Significant butyrate-producer.
- Increases numbers of Roseburia, Lactobacilli, Bifidobacteria and other commensals.
- Suitable for low-FODMAP diets - tolerated by many SIBO patients.
- Reduces methanogens, relieving constipation and IBS at 5g per day.
- Can correct both diarrhoea and constipation in adults and children.
- Reduces ammonia and indole synthesis at 21g/day.
- Reduces post-prandial glucose levels at 6g/day dose.
- Reduces microbial beta-glucuronidase.

Where PreBio PHGG is taken in addition to FloraGenex, the total daily PHGG will total 12.5g (2.5g from FloraGenex and 10g from PreBio PHGG).
Free from wheat and other grains, gluten, crustaceans, egg, fish, lupin, dairy (incl. lactose), peanuts, sesame seeds, soybeans, corn, tree nuts, added sugar, other sweeteners or artificial additives
Use Suggestion
Add a 1/2 to 1 scoop (1 scoop = 10g) to breakfast cereal or add to juice, milk, yoghurt or milk-based kefir as preferred.
Serves of 5g daily are suitable for SIBO and low FODMAP diets. Up to 22g have been used in chronic constipation.
