Lactobacillus plantarum 299v has been show to improve stool frequency and complete resolution of their abdominal pain.
Lactobacillus plantarum 299v has also shown to reduce frequency of abdominal bloating, abdominal pain and bowel movements in adults with medically diagnosed IBS.
Lactobacillus plantarum 299v is shown to have an effect on barrier function by decreasing permeability, maintaining a normal, healthy cardiovascular system and produce large quantities of propionic acid to exert anti-inflammatory action, modulating NF-kappa B and reducing the production of inflammatory cytokines.

Free from dairy protein, lactose, FODMAPs, eggs, gluten, wheat, nuts, yeast and soy protein.
Free from artificial colours and flavours.

Use Suggestion

Adults and children over 5 years:
Take 1 capsule daily.

For severe cases:

Take 1 capsule twice daily.

Cautions

If diarrhoea persists for more than six hours in infants under 6 months, 12 hours in children under 3 years, 24 hours in children aged 3-6 years or 48 hours in adults and children over 6 years, seek medical advice.
When constipated, drink plenty of water.
